With tart forest berry compote and vanilla créme fraíche

Slow cooked oxtail in red wine with garden vegetables
Champ mashed potatoes and caramelised red onions

Terrine of mature goats cheese and char-grilled vegetables (v)
Balsamic cherry tomatoes, toasted home-made olive bread and dressed wild roquette

Main courses

Pan fried mature local venison steak
Pea and bacon mashed potatoes, char-grilled asparagus, cumin roasted root vegetables and puy lentil sauce

Chicken saltimbocca
Fresh sage prosciutto ham, sweet potato purée, panache of seasonal garden vegetables and sherry infused mushroom sauce

Grilled darne of salmon
Butternut squash and parmesan risotto, red pepper marmalade and steamed pak choi

Char-grilled Mediterranean vegetable lasagne (v)
Thick chunky chips, tomato salsa, toasted garlic ciabatta and freshly shaved parmesan

Slow roasted minted lamb shoulder joint
Cheddar cheese and chive mash, caramelised root vegetables and balsamic redcurrant pan gravy

Fresh egg ravioli filled with mushroom purée (v)
Tossed in roasted garlic and pepper sauce with tomato bruchetta and dressed roquette

Desserts

Passion fruit and mango créme brulee
Home-made lime shortbread and seasonal berries

Sticky toffee and date pudding
With butterscotch sauce and semi whipped cream

Salad of seasonal fresh fruits
Served with either pouring cream of vanilla ice cream

Tangy lemon meringue roulade
With a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fruit coulis

Black Dub Blue – A creamy blue-veined cheese which is now made in Applebyand is a must for any cheese board!
